Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR / RMR)
Measurement of actual oxygen consumption at rest by indirect calorimetry with the VO2 Master metabolic analyzer, to determine precisely how many calories the body spends on its vital functions. Unlike theoretical formulas (which can be off by up to ~20 %), it removes estimation and allows macronutrients to be adjusted individually (fat loss or muscle gain without plateaus), identifying whether the metabolism is slow, normal or fast.
